The Minyan Chadash of New London Synagogue is looking for a prayer leader to inspire us over Rosh Hashanah this year.
We are looking for someone to lead shacharit both mornings and mussaf on one.
There’s an option to teach / give the sermon on Day 2
And offer Torah explanations on both days
All other roles are being filled by members of the community which is songful, participative, egalitarian and informal. We use the Harlow Machzor which is a slightly reduced version of the traditional service (less piyutim). We can arrange tutoring with our Chazan for anyone who would want to work on their nusach.
We are delighted to offer as an honorarium £1000 + travel expenses.
Accommodation can be provided if required.
